And the sound is out of this world and it's nice that you can get original parts without any problems from the manufacture

I decided to revitalise my 22yrs old HD 570's. Original ear pads were in good shape, however when I was removing them to replace degraded foam discs, plastic rims on which earpads are glued just broke. That's why I ordered these. Mounting new pair was a bit scary as you don't know where and how strong force you have to apply in order to attach pad. All in all, new pads and head band that also degraded cost me like a new pair. Not really rational decision.
